SUBJECT: Authorize the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with KSA Engineers in the amount of $658,710 for the Complete Design of the Gilmer Street Reconstruction Project

BACKGROUND AND FINDINGS:

City staff has negotiated a professional services agreement (PSA) with KSA Engineers for the complete design for Gilmer Street Reconstruction Project in the amount of $658,710.

The complete design will include reviewing the current roadway configuration for possible roadway dieting, landscaping, pedestrian improvements to the adjacent neighborhoods and businesses, and traffic analysis in key intersections to determine the need for intersection improvements. This project will also include the pedestrian signal upgrades at V.M.B. and Rancier Avenue.
