Attending: Councilmembers Michael Boyd, Jessica Gonzalez, Jose Segarra, Joseph Solomon, and Ramon Alvarez
Absent: Mayor Protem Cobb and Councilmember Riakos Adams
Also attending were City Manager Kent Cagle, Assistant City Manager Laurie Wilson, City Attorney Holli Clements, Deputy City Secretary Beatrice Canseco, and Sergeant-at-Arms Paholek
Councilmember Solomon gave the invocation. Councilmember Segarra led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Approval of Agenda
Motion was made by Councilmember Boyd to approve the agenda, as presented. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Solomon. The motion carried unanimously (5-0).
Presentations
PR-24-010 Presentation of a certificate to the Ellison High School Basketball Team/Coaches.
Mayor Nash-King recognized the Ellison High School boys' basketball team for an outstanding season and for advancing to the 5A UIL State Championship for the second consecutive year.
