SUBJECT: Amending Code of Ordinances - Fee and Rate Repeal
BACKGROUND AND FINDINGS:
On February 26, 2019, the City Council approved changes to the Financial Governance Policy delegating certain fees and rates to the City Manager to be set within established parameters.
The proposed ordinance would remove certain fees from the City’s Code of Ordinances that will be repealed or included in the FY 2025 fee schedule. Per the policy, the fee schedule was made available for public comment for a thirty-day period that ran from April 1-30, 2024.

Staff recommends City Council approve the ordinance amending Chapters 2, 4, 11, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 26, 28, 30, 31 and 32 of the code of ordinances of the City of Killeen, Texas, to repeal certain fee and rate provisions.
