Mayor Solomon called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM.

Presiding: Mayor Joseph Solomon

Attending: Mayor ProTem Jessica Gonzalez, Councilmembers Beverly Ann Williams, Anthony Kendrick, Mellisa Brown, Charles Kimble, Debbie Nash-King, and David Bass

Also attending were Interim City Manager Kent Cagle, City Attorney Holli Clements, City Secretary Elaine Simpson, and Deputy City Secretary Megan Magallon

Mayor Solomon gave the invocation and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Approval of Agenda
Motion by Councilmember Brown to approve the agenda and second by Councilmember Williams, motion carried by a unanimous 7-0 vote.

7. RS-26-132 Consider a memorandum/resolution appointing Commissioners to the Youth Advisory Commission (YAC) for FY27.

Ms. Roberts introduced the item, provided a brief presentation and fielded questions from City Council.


8. RS-26-133 Consider a memorandum/resolution approving an amendment to the Professional Services Agreement with the Schlueter Group for State Legislative Representation.
STAFF: CITY ATTORNEY HOLLI CLEMENTS
Ms. Clements introduced the item and provided a brief presentation to explain the amendment that reduces the cost of this contract agreement to one dollar ($1) this year as discussed in previous meeting. There were no questions.
