Attending: Mayor Protem Jessica Gonzalez, Councilmembers Debbie Nash-King, Beverly Ann Williams, Anthony Kendrick, Mellisa Brown, David Bass and Charles Kimble appearing via ZOOM.
Also attending were Interim City Manager Laurie Wilson, City Attorney Holli Clements, Executive Director of Communications Torrie Bethany and Sergeant-at-Arms Lawrence
Approval of Agenda
Motion was made by Councilmember Kendrick to approve the agenda, as presented. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Brown. The motion carried unanimously (7-0).

Ms. Wilson introduced this item to City Council for consideration. Ms. Wilson was available to provide additional information and to answer questions.
No motion of direction was made; consensus to keep the meetings at 5:00 p.m.
DS-26-047 Discuss charter amendments related to election dates, term limits for
elected officials, resign-to-run provision, filling vacancies on City Council,
City Council initiated investigations, candidate filing fee, initiative &
referendum requirements, recall procedures, judicial removal of elected
officials, citizen comment period, and change order briefings by the City
Manager.
