SUBJECT: Hold a second public hearing on the FY 2018 Proposed Annual Budget and Plan of Municipal Services for the fiscal year October 1, 2017, through September 30, 2018.
BACKGROUND AND FINDINGS:
The City of Killeen provides opportunities for public input throughout the budget process. The Local Government Code and the City Charter require that one public hearing be held prior to the adoption of the final budget. The first public hearing was held on Augst 22, 2017. This will be the second public hearing on the budget. The public is encouraged to be present and participate in the public hearing.

This is an additional public hearing to provide citizens the opportunity to comment on the budget. This hearing is required only if changes are made to the proposed budget submitted by the City Manager.
