BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Section 34 of the City Charter provides that the City Council shall meet regularly, but not less frequently than twice a month. Historically, the City Council has scheduled these two meetings for the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
DISCUSSION/CONCLUSION
The fourth Tuesday of December falls during the week of the Christmas holidays. It is recommended that the City Council meeting scheduled for December 22, 2015 be rescheduled for another date.
FISCAL IMPACT
No fiscal impact.
RECOMMENDATION
That the second regular City Council meeting of December be held on December 15, 2015.
