SUBJECT: MOA with Fort Hood Garrison Command
BACKGROUND AND FINDINGS:
The MOA enhances cooperation in matters involving Soldiers, family members, and joint law enforcement concerns within our community. It outlines responsibilities for both parties in areas such as notifications, custody transfers, investigations, protective order enforcement, coordination and tactical support during high-threat incidents. Importantly, it updates and supersedes the prior agreement signed in June 2021, ensuring continuity of operations and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
