Attending: Mayor Pro Tem Jim Kilpatrick, Councilmembers, Butch Menking, Juan Rivera, Gregory Johnson (arrived at 5:03 p.m.), Shirley Fleming, Debbie Nash-King and Steve Harris

Also attending were City Manager Ron Olson, City Attorney Kathryn Davis, City Secretary Lucy Aldrich, and Sergeant-at-Arms Gilman.

Pastor Charles Reid, Jr. gave the invocation, and Mayor Segarra led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Approval of Agenda

Motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Kilpatrick to approve the agenda as written. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Fleming. The motion carried unanimously.

Minutes

Motion was made by Councilmember Menking to approve the minutes of the April 9, 2019 Regular City Council Meeting. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Fleming. Motion carried unanimously.

Resolutions

RS-19-039 Consider a memorandum/resolution rejecting all bids received for Bid No. 19-13 Print Shop Supplies.
Staff Comments: Hilary Shine, Executive Director of Communications.
Bids for print shop supplies were solicited to find the best products and prices. On February 26, 2019, the city received two bids. The bid called for a one year contract commitment with three automatic one-year renewals with fixed pricing. Both bidders subsequently declined to meet the city’s contract terms. Staff has reevaluated the city wide print supply needs and determined the bid-process is not the most productive way to purchase print supplies. The process of receiving three quotes from vendors is the most cost effective way to receive print supplies. Therefore, staff recommends City Council reject all bids received for Bid #19-13 Print Shop Supplies.
