Presiding: Mayor Joseph Solomon
Attending: Mayor ProTem Jessica Gonzalez, Councilmembers Beverly Ann Williams, Anthony Kendrick, Mellisa Brown, Debbie Nash-King, Charles Kimble and David Bass
Also attending were Interim City Manager Kent Cagle, Assistant City Manager Laurie Wilson, City Attorney Holli Clements, City Secretary Elaine Simpson, and Deputy City Secretary Megan Magallon
Councilmember Kimble gave the invocation. Councilmember Nash-King led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Approval of Agenda
Motion was made by Councilmember Brown to approve the agenda, as presented. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Kimble. The motion carried unanimously (70).
Councilmember Bass moved to forego the city staff presentations on the following items: RS 26-108, RS-26-109, RS-26-110, RS-26-111, RS-26-112, RS-26-114, this was seconded by Councilmember Nash-King. A motion to amend was made by Councilmember Brown, seconded by Mayor Protem Gonzalez to add back the following items to be heard: RS-26-108, RS-26-109, RS 26-114 and hear these presentations. Vote on the motion to amend failed by a vote of 2 to 5. (Nays: Bass, Nash-King, Kimble, Kendrick and Williams). Then the vote was held on the main motion as originally presented, and it also failed. Ayes: 3, Nay 4. (Nays: Kimble, Brown, Gonzalez, and Williams).

1. PR26015 Killeen Star Award was presented to Sue Hallmark by Councilmember Brown.
2. PR26016 Proclamation recognizing Disability Pride Month was issued by Mayor Solomon.
