SUBJECT:                     Change Order No. 4 to the Taxiway B Rehabilitation Contract with TTG Utilities, Inc.                     

 

BACKGROUND AND FINDINGS:

 

On August 23, 2022, the City Council awarded a contract to TTG Utilities, Inc., for the Taxiway B Rehabilitation Project. This project ensures a safe operating environment for airport users and promotes the long-term economic sustainability of the airport by reducing maintenance costs and extending the taxiway's useful life.

 

With construction now complete, we have reconciled and adjusted all quantities to match the final project outcome.

 

Change Order No. 4 addresses this reconciliation and reduction of final project quantities, resulting in a decrease of $275,488.17; which represents a 2.68% reduction in the overall contract amount.

RECOMMENDATION:

 

Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute Change Order No. 4 for the Taxiway B Rehabilitation Project with TTG Utilities, Inc., reducing the contract amount by $275,488.17.
