SUBJECT: Authorize the award of Bid No. 24-13, Bunny Trail Reconstruction, to RT Schneider Construction Co, Ltd, in the amount of $5,814,102.64
BACKGROUND AND FINDINGS:
The Bunny Trail Reconstruction project was included in the Capital Improvement Plan as a project in FY 2021 as a result of the failing roadway. This roadway was identified in the last roadway inventory survey as a condition that was beyond repair techniques and needed to have full reconstruction.
The project includes removal and replacement of the full roadway between W. Stan Schlueter Loop and Canadian River Loop.
Kimley Horn provided professional services for design and bids. All received bids were opened on April 2, 2024 and read aloud through zoom online video conferencing and are noted below.

RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends that the City Council award Bid No. 24-13, Bunny Trail Reconstruction, to RT Schneider Construction Co, Ltd, in the amount of $5,814,102.64, authorize the City Manager or his designee to enter into a contract with RT Schneider Construction Co., and authorize the City Manager to execute any and all change orders.
