BACKGROUND AND FINDINGS:
Killeen Civic and Convention Center (KCCC) ballroom walls have the original wallpaper, which is now 22 years old. Walls have sustained damages from use by patrons and vendors. In several areas, the wallpaper is peeling, or parts are no longer adhering to the surface. The style wallpaper of is no longer manufactured, and replacement pieces cannot be found.
KCCC staff summitted Bid 24-43, Interior Wall Renovations for KCCC Ballroom, and received the following four (4) bid submissions.
Bid 1: NMCB Inc $112,003.31
Bid 2: James Weber $118,500
Bid 3: AZTECA Designs $122,000.00
Bid 4: ICGM Group LLC $350,000.00
Vendor, NMCB Inc’s bid came in as the lowest bid meeting all specifications and guidelines.

Authorize the City Manager or his designee to award Bid 24-43, Interior Wall Renovations for KCCC Ballroom to NMCB Inc in an amount of $112,003.31, and authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute any and all change orders within the amounts set by State and Local Law.
