Approval of Agenda
Motion was made by Mayor Protem Adams to approve the agenda, as presented. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Alvarez. The motion carried unanimously (6-0).

Resolutions
RS-25-193 Consider a memorandum/resolution changing the date of general elections to a November uniform election date in odd-numbered years.
Staff Comments: Holli Clements, City Attorney
Ms. Clements presented this item to City Council for discussion and consideration. Ms. Clements was available to provide additional information and to answer questions.
Motion was made by Councilmember Kendrick to change the date of all general elections to a November uniform election date in odd-numbered years to elect Mayor and all Councilmembers at the same time, for the current Mayor and at-large Councilmembers to holdover until November 2027 and to approve RS-25-193. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Cobb.
Motion was made by Mayor Protem Adams to amend the original motion to conduct the May 2026 general election and then proceed to change the date of all general elections to a November uniform election date in odd-numbered years to elect Mayor and all Councilmembers at the same time beginning in November 2027. Motion was seconded by Councilmember Segarra. The motion carried 6-1, with Councilmember Cobb in opposition.
The original motion, with the amendment included, passed unanimously (7-0).

With no further business, upon motion being made by Councilmember Solomon, seconded by Councilmember Gonzalez, and unanimously approved, the meeting was adjourned at 2:31 p.m.
